About the Content

What subjects does the site cover?
Right now the site covers math basics (fractions, percentages), science basics (atoms and molecules), study skills, and general school vocabulary. More subjects and topics are added over time. Use the Contact page to request a topic you would like covered.
Are the explanations accurate?
We take accuracy seriously. Every explanation is written carefully and checked before publishing. However, if you spot something that looks wrong or unclear, please report it through the Contact page. We will review and fix it promptly.
Can I use this content for school projects?
You can use this site as a learning resource and reference it as a source. However, do not copy text directly from this site and submit it as your own work - that would be plagiarism. Use what you learn here to write things in your own words.
Do you provide homework help or tutoring?
Not directly. StudyHelper Hub provides explanations and study guides to help you understand concepts. We do not have tutors who work through specific homework problems with you. Many schools offer free tutoring services - check with your school's learning center.

About the GPA Calculator

How does the GPA calculator work?
You enter each course, select a letter grade, and enter the number of credit hours. The calculator multiplies the grade points by the credit hours for each course, adds them all up, and divides by the total credit hours. The result is your weighted GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Does the calculator save my data?
No. All calculations happen locally in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to any server or stored anywhere. Once you close or refresh the page, the data is gone.
My school uses a different grade scale. Will the calculator work?
The calculator uses the standard US 4.0 grade scale, which is the most common. If your school uses a different scale (for example, some schools give A+ a value of 4.3), the result may differ slightly from your official GPA. Always check with your school's registrar for your official GPA.
Why do credit hours matter for GPA?
A 4-credit course has more weight than a 1-credit course. If you get an A in a 4-credit class, it affects your GPA much more than an A in a 1-credit class. Weighting by credit hours gives a more accurate picture of your overall academic performance.
